still reeling from…
As a survivor of domestic violence, the local play “If You Love Me” hit home on a deeply emotional level. Keali`iwahine’s writing and message were spot-on, and the [mostly young] local cast was phenomenal. I am still personally processing so much on my own after seeing this powerful play. Social change through the arts!

The interval Fuzion Fit class at Upcountry Fitness is no joke. It was my first time working with those ropes that suspend from the ceiling, and my abs were beyond sore for a couple of days afterward [so good!].

I literally cannot stop listening to Seattle hip-hop artist Macklemore + producer Ryan Lewis’ VS album. Not only do they both have innate talent, but the heart and message is profound and powerful.

I’ve been fortunate to have participated in two of Rebecca Walker’s workshops [the Art of Memoir + Write to Wellbeing’s What’s Your Story], but up until this past week, I hadn’t even owned the renowned author’s first memoir. As you can imagine, I’ve been eating it up.

I heart Sherman Alexi, so I was beyond excited when my book club chose “The Lone Ranger + Tonto Fist Fight in Heaven”. I always eat up Alexi’s work quickly, so I think I’ll actually be able to get this one read before our next meeting!

Kallari’s 85% dark chocolate is the smoothest and most decadent extra-dark chocolate I have ever tasted. Add in the fact that the company directly supports a cooperative of indigenous families and sustainably harvests, and I can’t get enough!
I was getting really overwhelmed with having to wash my cotton kitchen towels so often. My eco towl and Twist sponge have been life-savers for our kitchen lately!
